Zarmina Muhammad - Data Analyst, Assignar

I am Zarmina Muhammad and I am currently working as a Data Analyst at Assignar.

My background is quite diverse, where I graduated with a degree in biotechnology and biomedical sciences. I started my career as a biomedical researcher in nanotherapeutics where I realized that data has the potential of doing something bigger than just considering it to be these numbers, observations, and statistics from my research, and from there I started migrating more towards the data domain. In the beginning, I started working as a Health information system officer where I was primarily dealing with some very basic data processing and analysis of health data from a local NGO using M.Excel. To strengthen up my skills and expertise in the field I got a master’s degree in data science and Innovation from UTS (University of Technology Sydney) in 2020.

I am now skilled in SQL, R, and Python, where my technical expertise includes data analytics and Machine learning.

Working as a data analyst at Assignar, my future goals are inclined more towards getting experienced in Data Analytics – Product and marketing Analytics, where I can help the company in decision making by analyzing and getting valuable insights from customer data.
